TAIPEI, Taiwan (AP) — Nvidia on Monday unveiled new powerful chips that would bring advanced artificial intelligence functions into laptops and desktop computers, with the new personal computer models from brands including Microsoft and Dell set to roll out later this year.

Starting at $699 and a reduced $599 for students aged 16 and older during the ​back-to-school season, the XPS 13 seeks to offer a superior experience compared ​to the MacBook Neo, Dell said.

Huang vowed to "reinvent the PC" with Nvidia's powerful chip for Windows machines, calling it "as big of a deal as the reinvention of the phone into what we now know as the smartphone".
